We are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.
To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.
Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Modifying and improving existing systems.
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
- Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
- Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.

Cloud Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Experience with SysOps.
- Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications are preferred.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Client management skills.

Key Responsibilities
A Cloud Services Associate will respond to and assist our customers, and resolve issues flagged by the Infrastructure Monitoring system in order to maintain uninterrupted service to our amazing customers. You will use your initiative and innovation skills to put in place permanent fixes and changes to procedures to provide continual improvement to the customer experience. Your role will have a broad set of responsibilities including:
Front Line Support
- Provide front-line support to customers and internal staff in relation to managed service incidents, service requests, and change requests
- Resolve support calls where possible as first-line support, in accordance with agreed SLAs
- React to alerts in the Infrastructure monitoring system by either resolving issues directly or allocating them to appropriate team members
Call Resolution
- Attempt first-fix on incidents where this is possible before assigning incidents to others, building a knowledge base to grow first-fix capability
- Design and create fixes and procedure changes that prevent the reoccurrence of issues, leading to better efficiency and improved customer experience.
Reporting
- Use technical solutions to analyze platform use/logs and suggest enhancements
- Assist with the gathering of statistics for both internal and customer reporting
Product Awareness
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Company’s products as well as platform technologies in order to answer customer’s operational inquiries General Responsibilities
- Ensure all direct contact with customers is carried out in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring the company’s image is maintained to a high standard Escalate any issues likely to result in the failure to complete a task to line management.
