About the job

As a Microelectronics Numerical Simulation Engineer, you will manage technology and simulation capabilities to deliver design guidelines, risk assessments, and material/geometry recommendations for hardware devices used in Google Technical Infrastructure. You will be exposed to the depth and breadth of the advanced technologies currently deployed on Google’s product roadmap.

You will be part of the resident Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in advanced numerical analysis for supply chain operations in Google Technical Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop numerical models to understand manufacturing and reliability tradeoffs.
  • Develop scalable numerical models to capture different failure modes and physics phenomena expected during the entire microelectronics device lifecycle: design, testing, assembly, test, and field operation.
  • Partner with thermal, packaging, test, manufacturing, and quality engineers to develop validated simulation-based design guidelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of microelectronics assemblies.
  • Envision and execute test vehicles to generate experimental data required for model validation and enhancement.
  • Participate in the development of roadmaps of materials, models, and infrastructure required to scale numerical models in local and cloud-based simulation environments. Attend conferences, standards bodies, and other industry forums to keep up-to-date on the latest developments in numerical analysis.

Position Overview

The SCCM Packaging Engineer, reports to the Manager, Of Offshore Delivery, and will be responsible to come up with innovative solutions to various networking problems and ensuring that requirements are properly defined and satisfactorily met. Implements and evaluates the working of SCCM systems and stays abreast of new technologies emerging in the industry. Relies on extensive IT experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, validate, deploy, rollback enabled packages for COTS and custom applications in an enterprise environment through the SCCM
  • Complete packages in a timely manner. Packaging will consist of building silent installation packages in an MSI or MST format and performing initial installation testing on Windows 7 and 10.
  • Scripting experience will be required for packaging
  • Develop and follow procedures for testing applications prior to deployment
  • Document the customizations and changes made during the packaging process
  • Check for enterprise security compliancy using SCCM and query the environment for specific software installed on systems

The Engineer Technical Service will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the Aseptic Packaging machine.   • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues.
  • Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals, and system sales.
  • Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.
