Completes all necessary maintenance and repairs on devices within the plant to lessen any disruptions in output levels. Essential Functions Repair and maintain production equipment and facilities during assigned production shifts in order to meet budget levels in quality and quantity

Must report Safety, Food Safety, and Quality, Sustainability and Housekeeping problems to the direct supervisor immediately
Actively participate in teams and on projects to improve the metrics for a given area of responsibility
Assist Autonomous Maintenance process in the plant
Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)

Skilled in mechanical repairs, sanitary welding, electrical/electronics, and plumbing as related to a manufacturing environment
PLC experience desirable
Ability to troubleshoot and take corrective action
Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must furnish own hand tools
Good decision-making ability in pressure situations
Ability to work assigned shift
Must be a team player and adhere to all safety rules
Knowledge of USDA, FDA, SQF, and customer requirements for a food manufacturing plant
Knowledge of Sustainability and EPA requirements for a manufacturing plant
Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
Ability to read and write instructions in English
Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals

  • Assist with turbine maintenance including services, major component work and replacement, troubleshooting, and QA/QC inspections.
  • Supports and/or leads the implementation of work order management at the site.
  • Assist with the Balance of Plant activities as needed, including substation and collection system maintenance.
  • Facilitate down turbine and performance escalations (responsible for problem statement definition, staffing, project management, customer
  • interface, post-mortem delegation, and oversight in the escalation process).
  • Maintains an active presence in the turbine a minimum of 25-50% to act as a lead, coach, and escalation point
  • Effectively gather information regarding turbine issues and performance, diagnose, recommend, and implement solutions to complex issues, and optimize production output. Effectively partner with Technical Support/Fleet Engineering as needed to ensure success in performance or
  • issue resolution. Communicate pertinent information to key individuals. Is regarded as the starting point in a “significant” turbine issue feedback loop
  • including the generation, refinement, and validation of best practices.
  • Promotes and fosters a strong team environment not only within technical staff but across partner departments. Assists teammates in
  • accomplishing operational objectives and goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must have an unrestricted valid driver's license.
