Qualification: Mechanical Engineer/Piping Design Engineer

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in the Power/Oil & Gas industry
  • At least 5+ years of Hands-On experience in 3D modeling in Auto Plant/Plant 3D Software.
  • Hands-on experience in extraction of the isometric drawings and BOM from the 3D Model.
  • Extensive knowledge in Plot plans, Piping layout, Pipe supports, and Isometric drawings.
  • Willing to move/relocate/travel within or outside India for Job requirements.
  • Strong capability in problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Description:

  • Preparing & Developing piping layout in 3D Models like Auto Plant/ Plant 3D/PDMS etc. and extraction of the Isometric drawings, Plot Plan, Piping Layout, and BOM from the 3D Model.
  • Knowledge in piping engineering including sizing, pressure drop calculation, and BOM generation.
  • Preparation of piping drawings, specifications, PMS, VMS, Line List, etc.
  • Should have knowledge of Piping engineering Standards (Indian and International).
  • Preparation of P&IDs and PFDs.
  • Coordination with engineers, Clients, and Consultants.
  • Knowledge in HAZOP, SIL study.
  • Site support as necessary.

        JOB TITLE: CIVIL & STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER


        KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Perform analysis and design of various structures for static and dynamic forces covering dead loads, live loads, operating loads, temperature, wind, seismic and pulsations. Experience required in analysis and design of Steel structures like Piperack’s, Technological Structures, Shelters, GMPs, VMPs, Pipe supports, Trussles, connection design and RCC structures like RCC Buildings, Pits, precast pipe racks, Equipment foundations for static and dynamic conditions. Design of Piles, pile caps, Base plates, anchor bolts.
        • Experience in design of underground services like trenches, pits, manholes and drainage systems will be added advantage.
        • Co-ordination with designers for 3D model and 2D drawings, checking model and drawings, MTO, Co-ordination with other discipline for inputs and clearances on drawings.
        • Co-ordination with detailers for resolving queries from detailers and fabrication shops. Resolution of site queries.
        • Read and interpret Soil investigation reports for the application on project.
        • Assist in the preparation of technical inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors, participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers. Partake in Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), review vendor drawings and documents. Review design calculations, ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications and are within budgeted costs.
        • Provide inputs for the preparation of plot plans, organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC’s) coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of data inputs.

        ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
