Here at The Griffin’s Food Company, we proudly produce many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands, including Griffins, Eta, Nice’n’Natural, and Huntley and Palmers, and we’re looking for people to help us produce many of these brands at our Papakura site in South Auckland.
As our iconic manufacturing plant operates 24 hours/5 days a week, we have a big team filled with amazing people, therefore often have movement within our teams which leads to regular permanent job opportunities available in this space!

We're looking for people to join us in permanent roles on the following fixed shifts;
  • Morning Shift: 12.05am - 8.05am
  • Day Shift: 7.55am - 4.25pm
  • Night Shift: 4.15pm - 12.15am
  • These are all full-time roles Monday to Friday, based at our Papakura plant

What skills will you learn in this role?
  • Operating manufacturing machinery - including machine set up, changeovers, trouble-shooting, manual packing, and cleaning
  • How to follow standard processes to make consistently great products!
  • Best practice food hygiene and the quality standards we live by
  • Health and Safety procedures to keep us all safe at work

What will you bring to the role?
  • A positive attitude and motivation to keep improving in the workplace
  • Some experience in a busy, hands-on role would be an advantage - with machine operation experience being an extra tick!
  • Reliability - you can be counted on to be there when you say you will be!
  • Physical fitness - you're happy to be in a role that has you on your feet and are ok with some heavy lifting (10kgs- 25kgs approx.)
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence in using technology
  • The desire to be part of a winning team - working with and helping others to achieve success
